The Planning, Protection and Optimization (PPO) module is one of the certifications in the ITIL®Service Capability work stream. The module focuses on the practical application of PPO practices in order enable capacity, availability, IT service continuity, information security and demand management. The ITIL® Planning, Protection and Optimization (Hide) is designed to develop organizations’ and individuals’ understanding of the ITIL Service Design processes. The main focus of this course is the development of operational subject matter expertise on these processes in a practical, hands-on learning environment. It can help ensure that new and updated services, service management systems and tools, technology architecture, processes and measurement systems, methods and metrics are designed to meet user needs and will require little further change once introduced. The course will enables you to master the key ITIL processes needed to create a stable IT infrastructure that business can rely on.

How is the course assessed?

Our ITIL® Planning, Protection and Optimization (Hide) will ensure that you’re fully prepared for the exam. Successful completion of the exam – provided by the authorised awarding body – is a prerequisite to obtaining your qualification.

However you will be able to obtain a course completion certificate from St. Paul’s College upon completion of the course.
