The purpose of this Veterinary Support Assistant aims to teach the vital knowledge for any veterinary support assistant looking to become better qualified within the veterinary industry. The course covers a number of key areas that are involved when working in a veterinary practice and will explore the roles and responsibilities that a support assistant would have. This course gives a firm grounding in reality, with essential skills such as animal handling and restraint, pet psychology and recognizing pain, and working as part of a veterinary team – as well as an understanding of technical terms, anatomy and physiology, and first aid.
Method of Assessment:
Upon conclusion of the course, there’s an online multiple-choice quiz assessment, which will determine whether you have passed the course. The test is marked immediately and results are published instantly (60% pass mark).
