The Microsoft 70-642 – Configuring Windows Server 2008 R2 Network Infrastructure course will help you gain an understanding of network infrastructure in an understandable manner.

This in-depth course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to configure and troubleshoot Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Network Infrastructures.
This course will enhance your knowledge and skills for working with IP addressing and services. You will also understand names resolution, following with file and print services, network access and remote access, and monitoring network services.

In addition to that, this course will also cover networking technologies most commonly used with Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, such as DNS, DHCP, IPv4 and IPv6 network addressing, Network Policy server, Network Access Protection and configuring secure network access.
