The Painting and Home Decorating Course teaches you these valuable skills, from applying wallpaper to analysing rooms like the professionals. Interior and exterior painting are covered in the first half of the course, where you will also learn correction techniques, priming and staining and working over ground colours. After that, you will turn your attention to decorating, exploring the history of interior design, the treatment of furniture and ornaments and how to design rooms for different people. You will also learn how to market your potential business through flyers, cards and personal portfolios.

Method of Assessment:

Upon conclusion of the course, there’s an online multiple-choice quiz assessment, which will determine whether you have passed the course. The test is marked immediately and results are published instantly (60% pass mark).
