This Interpersonal Communication Skills will cover all of these dimensions, including how they play into your management style and your workplace actions like holding difficult conversations.
This course will show you how to manage the conscious and unconscious codes of meaning we send to each other and to respond with appropriate codes in turn. You will explore concepts of verbal and nonverbal expression including personal style, listening, relationship dynamics, self-esteem, conflict management, and cultural and gender communication differences. You’ll also introduce to, and encouraged to explore, concepts of culture and diversity as you relate to interpersonal communications and caregiving interactions.
