The Computer Maintenance and Troubleshooting Diploma Level 3 will teach you the foundations of building, troubleshooting and repairing PCs. If you are a beginner or want to brush up on existing skills, this course will benefit you.

This computer maintenance course covers the fundamentals of computer hardware and software and advanced concepts such as security, networking, and the responsibilities of an IT professional. You will learn about the internal components of a computer, assemble a computer system, install an operating system, and troubleshoot using system tools and diagnostic software. Through the course, you will understand the architecture, components, and makeup of the modern PC, understand how Windows configures and works with hardware devices. The course will make you able to install hardware devices and diagnose installation problems.

Upon completion of this course, you will have all of the skills required to pursue a career as a computer technician doing repairs, maintenance, and even building computers from scratch.

Method of Assessment:

Upon conclusion of the computer maintenance course, there’s an online multiple-choice quiz assessment, which will determine whether you have passed the course. The test is marked immediately and results are published instantly (60% pass mark).
